This project was a initiative funded by the United Nations Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) for Sustaining Peace in Colombia.  Led by the Colombia en Paz Fund (FCP) and the Presidential Council for Stabilization (CPEC), and implemented by the International Organization for Migration (OIM), this project aimed to develop and promote authentic new narratives to encourage greater shared responsibility in the peace process. It was conducted across 40 prioritized PDET municipalities from August 24, 2021, to October 23, 2022.

As an external evaluator, I conducted a comprehensive evaluation as part of the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) component. My role involved assessing the project’s relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, sustainability, and coherence. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach with both quantitative and qualitative components, I focused on a Beneficiary Assessment perspective. This approach allowed me to evaluate the project’s outcomes by capturing the experiences and impacts reported by those directly and indirectly benefited by the project. My evaluation determined whether the project’s objectives were met as planned, within the proposed timelines, and documented the achievement of the final goals and any unexpected impacts.
